Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Assist with payment processing and invoicing to ensure suppliers are paid timely
- Analyze invoices and expenses to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to processing payments
- Support stakeholders, GSP, accounting leaders, and the outsourced India team by participating in daily meetings, AP activities, and various projects
- Collaborate across the organization to leverage resources and knowledge to solve problems and meet deliverables and deadlines
- Continuously review and improve accounts payable processes to maximize efficiency and accuracy while minimizing errors
- Provide recommendations and support to automate key analytics or reporting to drive productivity
- Use data mining techniques to identify opportunities for business and GBS continuous improvement
- Demonstrate strong judgment, innovation, creativity, and critical thinking
- Use inquiry and advocacy effectively to work through barriers
- Strong analytical, written, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent documentation and requirements analysis; experience developing and/or presenting business cases

- Proficiency with collaboration and productivity systems such as Microsoft applications, Google Drive, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Slack
- Experience with pivot tables or other data analytics approaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of Procurement or Accounts Payable experience
- Expert knowledge of payables procedures and full‑cycle accounting practices in North America; international experience preferred
- Strong judgment, innovation, and creativity; ability to work through barriers using inquiry and advocacy
- Experience with process improvement and development of best practices
- Experience developing and/or presenting business cases
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Availability to support and interact with multiple international business units
- Ability to work independently as well as lead and participate in cross‑functional teams
Other Desired Skills
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to analyze complex data sets
- Excellent computer and Excel skills; experience with Google Cloud Apps is a plus
- Experience with PowerPoint or other data analytics software
- Exceptional analytical, communication, project management, and presentation skills
- Experience with enterprise systems and data such as Oracle, Aravo, and Coupa preferred
