Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will analyze financial performance by collecting, monitoring, and studying data, then recommending actions to support business decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions
• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. 
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. 
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. 
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials. 
• Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. 
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. 
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Desktop accounting, FP&A. Accrual accounting experience
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently
• Attention to details and ability to synthesize large volumes of data into insightful recommendations
• Exceptional track record of self-motivation, prioritization, initiative, and integrity
• Strong written and oral communication skills
