Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Financial Analyst. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Budget Management Contractor to oversee and manage our organization's budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and be proficient in using Coupa software and Google Sheets. This role requires impeccable attention to detail, excellent numerical accuracy, and the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze budgetary reports and financial statements.
- Implement and maintain budget control measures to ensure compliance with budgeted guidelines.
- Collaborate with various department heads to gather and analyze financial data for budget planning.
- Utilize Coupa software for procurement processes and budget management tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and data in Google Sheets for real-time budget tracking and reporting.
- Recommend financial adjustments and budget reallocations based on ongoing analysis and organizational needs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget forecasts and reports for senior management.
- Ensure financial practices and records comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an accountant, budget analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Coupa software and Google Sheets.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in drafting and managing organizational budgets.
