Our client, is seeking an Insurance Broker for their Service team focusing on Commercial and/or personal lines.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing exceptional customer service. You will be working with our high-performing team supporting our top-end brokers.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client's insurance requirements, analyze their existing coverage, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to address their unique needs
  • Handle policy endorsements, renewals, and policy adjustments promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines.
  • Assist clients in the claims process, acting as a reliable point of contact and guiding them through the necessary steps to ensure a seamless claims experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to effectively educate and advise clients on available coverage options.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional insurance products that align with the client's needs, increasing customer satisfaction and company revenue.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files, ensuring all interactions and transactions are properly documented in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with a team of insurance professionals, sharing knowledge, providing support, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

 Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on the job experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial and/or personal lines insurance
  • Must have your General Insurance License Level 2 (or higher) in Alberta
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations and best practices
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping others and providing personalized insurance solutions tailored to our clients.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset, working effectively within a team to achieve shared goals while fostering a positive and supportive work culture
  • Proficiency with computer applications including EPIC (Broker Management System)

The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Additionally, it is emphasized that the pay band mentioned herein is the one established by the client company. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
