YOUR DAY IN THE LIFE 

Wilson is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Independent Contractor Recruitment Consultant to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will play a key role in identifying and attracting top talent for our clients' critical needs. You will work independently, managing your own workload and schedule to achieve specific goals within the defined contract term. 

YOU WILL: 

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and develop a targeted recruitment strategy.   
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate sourcing through market research, passive candidate identification, and leveraging your existing network.   
  • Screen and interview candidates, assessing their skills and experience for suitability.   
  • Present qualified candidates to clients and manage the interview process. (Negotiating offers and onboarding may be included depending on the specific contract)   
  • Maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring exceptional service.   
  • Achieve assigned submittal and placement goals within the contract timeframe.   
  • Manage your own workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.   
  • Be responsible for all tax filings and self-employment related costs. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within a similar agency or corporate environment.   
  • Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in permanent or contract roles.   
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation (if applicable).   
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.   
  • Adept at research, problem-solving, and working independently to achieve goals.   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).   
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.   
  • A passion for recruitment and a strong work ethic.
